Adele is ridiculously elegant like her mother. 🥰 She did a wonderful job on her first litter of 3 kids. She’s got great orifices and milks out quickly.

A funny thing happened in 2025… I think it was sometime in September when Adele barged her way into the yard where I keep milking girls overnight. So I let her have her turn on the milking stand, and much to my surprise, she was producing a fair amount of milk! This is significant (to me anyway) because I had stopped milking her and marked her ‘dry’ in December of 2024 – but she’s been nursing Citabria all this time. At well over 500 days in milk, I contacted Amelicor to see if I should have Adele on the next milk test… and so I did. Just over a full year since her last test, she was producing only .2 lb less milk! I included her in the early December test as well, and have no idea if she is eligible for milk awards, but will find out after I send in her dry sheet.. again.
